Feb. 19th, 2006 02:38 pm12"x12" in acrylics. Done for an eBay challenge (make something that represents 'GREEN' on a square canvas no larger than 14"x14"), will be up on eBay in the next few hours. Total of about ten hours of work -- I'll try to get a better picture later when the paint is completely dry.

(I can't be sure if this is a true-to-life sort of pose because it came out of my head. It is dynamic, though, and I like that.)
There will, doubtless, be others today.

In response.
I have entirely too much fun doing these, I swear X3
I'm using them as practice for drawing the same character again and again in different poses. Of course... there will always be some sort of difference between each and every one of them... but still. Good practice.
EDIT:

In response.
I do have entirely too much fun doing these. Really.

I don't know why these things are coming so easily to me, it's like I'm them. Eeewwwww.

Feb. 1st, 2006 06:29 amIt looks like the person sneaking around yesterday was Five. She was either a) sneaking around trying to find something and didn't like what she saw, b) sneaking around trying to find Zared (found him!) or c) sneaking around and is just an emotional wreck for no reason. Which is highly possible.
Again with the 'I don't know what possessed me to draw these things!' Seriously. I don't know.
EDITED to show outlined version .-.
...I dunno what's going on with cPanel for M-C.com...

Looks like someone was doing something they had no business doing and got caught. I've been doodling robed/hooded figures the last two days and this was the only one I actually bothered saving. Could be Seven... she seems the type to go doing something without telling anyone where she's going. Then again, could be Eight. Or Five. Dunno, I'll leave it up to those of you who know what I'm talking about to decide.
(I personally think its Eight. She might seem all innocent and naive to some but I'm sure she's hiding something.)
There's also a 'mild' piece that requires a passkey in order to view - pregnant nude. Rather happy with how that one came out, actually. Don't know what possessed me to draw such a thing but it came out nicely. No refs. Still trying to work on the human figure a great deal.
Need a passkey? Can't remember your's? Drop me an email or leave a note and I'll get it straightened out.

openCanvas 3.05E Plus! and optical mouse.
Yay for memes. How about this -- I dare you all to draw a sheep. But not just any sheep. Give it a special power or three. Combine it with another animal to make it into a sheep-a-something or a lamb-a-whatsit. Anything to make it not quite a sheep. Dare ya.
Doesn't matter if you don't think you can draw (because I know there are a few of you who are pessimistic). It'll be fun :)
Tomorrow is Rabbit Hole Day.
And I'm beat.
*Edit* Ahaha, I knew I forgot -something-....

Clip tease! :D I'm so infatuated with this, it might actually end up being my final piece for Niko's instead of my ten sheepies (because, frankly, that bright yellow-green does not suit my mood at this point in time and I'm tired of looking at it).
Eventually I'll post a finished. You know. When I actually finish it.

A swap piece for
8"x8" square, crocheted. Acrylic. Roughly twelve hours with lots of little breaks to stretch and such. Fingers hurty.
Better late than never!
